It's hard not to compare this place with Frites considering both offer Belgian dishes likes mussels and fries and burgers. For the mussels, I went with the traditional white wine and cream base. I would say that the mussels are really tiny (tea spoon sized) but the soup base was flavourful enough to make up for that. Fries here are a bit plain and can use some herbs. The bread on the side would make a remarkable difference if toasted (especially with garlic). The portion is good for sharing for

The BELGOS burger was served with the same fries with truffle mayo on the side. There were slices of truffles inside the burger too. The disappointment was however the fact that the burger buns were not heated up. So when you pick it up with your hands, it felt like you are grabbing something off the shelf.
This dinner was just soso and the restaurant has rooms for improvement. Small things make huge differences, e.g. warm sides! I suppose if you need a quiet street for alfresco this place could be an option.
