Rustico has been on my go to list for a long time but could never make it as I’m rarely on that side of town. Finally managed to try it when I brought my kids to D2Place to check out the Christmas decorations. We tried the octopus, peppers, potato balls and broken eggs for appetizers. For mains, we had the dry aged steak and seafood paella and both were incredibly awesome. Steak was cooked to perfection with a nice char and the paella was probably one of the best I’ve had in HK! Super flavorful. We then topped of the night with churros and cheesecake. Churros were also very well done but the cheesecake wasn’t to my taste. To me it seemed more like a cheese panna cotta than a cheese cake.
Overall I really enjoyed my dinner (not something I say very often). The decor was rustic and nice, servers were polite and food was yummy! I’m looking forward to going back again.
