My family including me, 4 people went to this dim sum restaurant on a Saturday, pretty nice service and friendly staff here. I was actually waiting for 15 mins to get the spot at around 10:30 am. firstly talk about the snowy BBQ pork bun (雪山叉燒包), which is very nice! The honey BBQ porks are wrapped by a warm and softy bun, lovely coated by a sweet crispy crust. As I'm a pescetarian, I don't eat meat of the land animals but fishes and seafood. So, I haven't tried the pork but the bun, my family ate the pork instead. The tenderness of the bun and the crispness of the outside coating giving to that crunchy crumbly bite, and the appearance of that beautiful snowy bread, that's lovely!! That outside coating was similar to the appearance of Hong Kong style pineapple bun but in white colour, which is quite interesting.

Then I was quite looked forward into that running silky and a bit crumbly egg yolk of that 流沙奶皇包. As '流' in Chinese is supposed to be 'running'; and '沙' which is supposed to be 'crumbly' in texture. It was actually quite good. There's a nice liquidity of the yolk. And yet, it was greasy. Not in the buttery texture but in the watery oily texture instead.

, it's absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend that.
These were some dedicate chopped shrimps in the interior, which is covered by a starchy, crispy fried layer and another thin smoothy glutinous rice wrapper. The bite with that texture was just insanely lovely
. They were really fine and light, not oily of that fried layer at all!

Then, the following two dishes that I've tried weren't great at all.
蘿蔔絲薄撑, it's okay. It's a creative transformation of radish pudding
. However, it's too greasy and the cake is not thin enough, the starch was actually over-thicked. The outside of that crust not crisp at all as the oil softened the crust.

And that 臘味糯米飯 was not good at all. Again, I am a pescetarian. I don't eat meat. I've just tried the sticky rice of the dish. The rice was actually coldly stick together, not in the gooey texture but with a nutty and hardly texture to it. Besides, there's no peanuts inside and a little bit oily. I would recommend you guys trying any other dishes instead.

For the shrimp dumplings (籠太子蝦餃皇) that's quite out of my expectation. As I am used to be not obsessed by shrimp dumplings, I didn't expect that much. But that's finely great. It's a bit chewy and gooey with the glutinous wrappers outside. And it's light and juicy of the shrimps inside.

And there's some other dishes I haven't tried but my family did, which are as shown as below. And some I forgot to take pics
. Overall, I've a nice time gather with my family. It's a flavour meal after all.
