Dinner for 8. Canadian wanted hotpot so decided to try this one, as recommended by PickyEater. Everybody appreciated the 一人一鍋 concept. Here’s a selection of our pot choices:芫茜皮蛋湯椰子鮮雞湯青紅蘿蔔牛蹄鍋海帶清湯鍋Ingredients-wise, ordered the usual suspects but surprisingly no seafood this time. Particularly worth noting and deserving of second orders were: The beef 騸牯牛: 牛頸脊 and 吊龍. 香炸鮮蝦丸- where shrimp was stuffed inside my favorite- 油炸鬼. Ingredients-wise, ordered the usual suspects but surprisingly no seafood this time.

The beef 騸牯牛: 牛頸脊 and 吊龍.
香炸鮮蝦丸- where shrimp was stuffed inside my favorite- 油炸鬼. Maximum 4 seconds in the soup tho- as we wanted the dough to retain a certain amount of crispiness.
香脆豬仔嘜午餐肉- a necessary evil.
嫩豆苗- very fresh and tender.
As for the less than underwhelming items- definitely 牛花膠 (translated in the Menu as “Beef Chin and Jaw”). A rare item indeed- so we all decided to order as none of us had tried before. Tasteless and weird texture. No one liked it- left unfinished. Should simply have ordered tendon instead.
In summary: great atmosphere with amazing service. Great selection of rare items. Definitely Recommended.
