Finally visiting the TMK new branch at Wan Chai, rocking the Starstreet neighbourhood with a punky vibe and of course some modern Jap foods!𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙢𝙤𝙣 𝙏𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙞The salmon🐟 is lightly seared to give out some oil while the marination is super fascinating. The Japanese fried chicken🐓A nice one with nothing you could pick on. The spicy mayo sauce is very delicious that light up the dish. Would be even more perfect to go with a beer 🍺

Tried the tuna and wagyu nori bowls🍚 and both are very promising and I especially love the tuna one. But who doesn’t?! The condiments are very fresh and nice, each give different flavours and bites. Bowl food🥣 is just one of the best creation ever that is always comforting to me! I also enjoy the ginger kick of the bowl, very innovative and refreshing to the palate😋

This is the best ice cream🍨 I had in a while. Totally out of expectation and it blew my mind 🤯 The combination may sound weird: vanilla ice cream, nori, pop corn and extra virgin olive oil. But it is absolutely 𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐔𝐒 👨🏽‍🔬 The EVOO makes the ice cream even smoother while the nori salinity balance out the sweetness to create a magical moment in your mouth. No kidding. This creation is totally amazing‼️

Whenever I see a banana 🍌 dessert, I order it anyway (actually too many ingredients too like apple, pistachio, chestnut, etc. 😂). This one doesn’t disappoint me but I want the batter thinner for crispier texture.

This is the gift🍶 from the restaurant’s opening giveaway on top of the free lunch. What a treat!?!? This is just way too generous and big enough to buy me as a loyal patron. Can’t wait to try it soon😋 And this is not the end, you get a red packet when leaving too🧧 @piratagrouphk definitely knows one thing or two to win people’s hearts❤️

Overall, a very nice dining spot to offer a Jap-influenced 🇯🇵 cuisine presented in a modern way. The decor and design are super punk that will make your day🤟🏿

    The outer and interior design was super attractive, can't hold myself to snap a few shots of the place. The hamachi went super well with the jalapeno and ponzu, the freshness from the yuzu flavour and spiciness from the jalapeno, my saliva literally flooded the food!Karaage: chicken thigh with spicy yogurt, soft and tender, juicy and creamyThe starters made my stomach wide open and ready for the upcoming dishes!     The hamachi went super well with the jalapeno and ponzu, the freshness from the yuzu flavour and spiciness from the jalapeno, my saliva literally flooded the food!
    Karaage: chicken thigh with spicy yogurt, soft and tender, juicy and creamy
    The starters made my stomach wide open and ready for the upcoming dishes!

    I don't usually eat tuna in Hong Kong, they taste like blood and not fresh at all, but the tuna here gave me a pleasant feeling
    They came in a bowl of cabbage and pea shoots, mixed in yuzu mayo
    So fresh so clean

    You have to roll the scallop roll yourself, something to play with!
    Scallops are super soft and sweet

    Savoury popcorn on vanilla icecream was a surprise, having olive oil on top was a bigger surprise
    Like the combination of savoury and sweetness
    Fried banana and icecream was delicious, crispy, soft, warm and cold in one bite

    Story telling: TMK Rap & Rolls was inspired by the hiphop era in the 80s, the staff explained to us the people in those days usually put themselves in Addidas, and so do they in the restaurant. I wore the same Addidas tshirt coincidentally, I was invited to take a polaroid for them to stick on their board, it was super funny memorable and interesting experience!
    I like their vibe and customer service, positive and energized!

    繼Pici, The Pizza Project後又多一間Pirata Group 旗下嘅餐廳進駐星街小區😆，這間餐廳出現必定令到這個小區越來越熱鬧了。星期一至五供應的Lunch Set (我估星期六、日、公眾假期有另外一個lunch set 掛)，有2 courses (HKD148)或3 courses (HKD168)揀 - 前菜、主菜、甜品 三揀二或揀晒全部。飲品要另外加錢，有咖啡、Iced tea、啤酒等。兩個人分別點咗一個 2 courses 同埋 3courses lunch set。前菜 ▫️Karaage - 日式炸雞，目測呢個前菜好多枱都有點。我哋坐吧枱望到個open kitchen，見到廚師即刻整炸雞㗎，新鮮滾熱辣。將件炸雞沾上有少少辣粉嘅醬汁後先食，正！主菜▫️Katsu-san - 日式炸豬扒、枝豆、椰菜、飯▫️West Coast - 有用醬油醃過嘅生三文魚、牛油果、椰菜、炸豆腐、番茄、coleslaw、飯兩個飯都幾好味，食到椰菜嘅時候就覺得味道有啲鹹喇，我估應該係啲醬汁嘅問題。甜品▫️Poppin’ Ice Cream - 好有創意嘅甜品。爆谷嘅鹹味跟雪糕嘅甜味原

    ▫️Poppin’ Ice Cream - 好有創意嘅甜品。爆谷嘅鹹味跟雪糕嘅甜味原來可以做出一份有驚喜嘅甜品。爆谷黏上雪糕的外面，初初嚐到嘅係鹹味然後才到甜味。上面嗰層黃色液體味道鹹鹹地，我覺得似牛油多過橄欖油 (餐牌上係咁寫嘅😆)
    ▫️Fried banana - 敗筆之作。上枱時啲雪糕溶晒，好失望。其實點解見到啲雪糕溶晒都仲俾個客人呢😞


    我哋光顧當日係餐廳第一日開門做生意，運作上有點亂一啲都唔出奇，我哋亦都會諒解。除咗出餐要等好耐之外其他方面我哋都幾滿意，應該會再幫襯嘅。


    雖然呢間係日本餐廳，但裝潢一啲日式傳統感覺都冇。一反傳統，店內裝潢有型有格，走遙滾派路線，尤其係嗰幅「收音機」牆 (第9張相)，真係令人眼前一亮。可惜裡面空間太少，坐滿人嘅時候出出入入都有點困難😞


    第10張相係開業前嗰晚影嘅。店外牆上嘅塗鴉剛剛由人手完成，好靚呀！
