I usually go out for lunch after 1:30pm to avoid the crowds. By the time I got there, most of the crowd were finishing their coffees and ready to go back to office. I ordered the "Academics Breakfast", expecting the usual sausages, bacon, eggs, baked beans and toasts. The dish arrived quickly but I was immediately disappointed. The plate was full but half of it were barely dressed salad leaves, together with two pieces of bacon, baked beans, one sausage, toasted french bread and wait, ONE egg! S

咖啡學院@The Coffee Academic灣仔莊士敦道35號-45號似曾相識的MENU 設計,沒錯,就是caffè HABITŪ的姊妹店,於2012年創立, 以高品質咖啡作主打。SET LUNCH MENU有3款,價錢約百來元昏黃的燈光, 像回到家有股溫暖舒適的感覺,而木傢俱及桌上放了植物與大自然的距離又拉近了。the Coffee Academics有舉辦咖啡班,學習到咖啡知識及沖調技巧,不過要近$500一課的咖啡班(貴市價一倍)吸引力不大!Academic breakfast $108 (要另外10% 服務費)Starter 從salad 或湯 二擇其一最普遍的的油醋沙律汁,蔬菜類別上有車里茄, 生菜等等組合,綠油油的又有紅黃車里茄令色彩更繽紛,醋比例多, 口味上蠻酸, 菜則新鮮爽口。有煙肉、法包2片、沙律、太陽蛋、腸和茄汁豆,份量適中, 女生食剛好填飽肚子。法包沒有再額外加工, 平凡普通,又沒有附牛油, 太乾難以下嚥。太陽蛋煎好後再灑上即磨的黑胡椒及鹽,好像洞悉了我口味, 我習慣吃蛋愛狂加黑胡椒,蛋白邊煎老了, 蛋黃汁可以用來蘸點法包,茄汁豆額外加入了雞肉碎, 揮去單調感,

Great coffee, good food, ghastly 'service'...Despite the location, decor, patrons, quality of the menu items and price point. There wont be a return visit purely based on principle; they just don't 'get' service and when I flagged my observations with them, the staff member's answer was "we are busy", not "sorry" or "we'll try to be better next time"..."Busy" is a 'good problem' for your shop to have, and "busy" may mean that we, your customers, may have to wait a little longer for the delivery

銅鑼灣 The Coffee Academics 經常去. 但灣仔店是第一次由第一天開已期望到直至這一個星期日方有緣份光顧約了朋友三時見面, 但過了半小時還沒有見她出現小妹唯有先下單唔想以為我明坐, 白用她們 WifiCappuccino是指定動作 6 oz $38 再加一點甜品便完美下午茶了從走進店子那一刻已被在餅櫃內的Lemon Tart $42 吸引著,小妹今天絕不放過它它的體積就正如一般的蛋撻一樣, 身材中等,但以 $42 來說絕不便宜了。蛋白糖打得很輕, 更以火槍燒過, 能夠輕微增加脆之餘, 亦令賣相加分。蛋白糖面下是一層液體形狀的檸檬汁, 感覺是有點奇怪, 但甜酸味道讓人感覺。清新, 撻皮則有欠鬆化, 這個非一般的Lemon Tart好不容易會令人留下印象。Cappuccino (Slimmed Milk) 奶泡豐富, 細滑如白雲,咖啡濃度就像度身訂造一樣, 不酸, 不苦, 不過濃, 而且餘韻更停留在口腔一會。無論環境, 食物, 咖啡也令人滿意, 只是價錢略貴。雖然喜歡這裡但亦只會偶以光顧, 反正好得咖啡店多的是。

縱使年紀不小，然小妹總是自欺的，永遠覺得自己是小孩。今日，係四月四日兒童節，決定一個人外出用餐，好好慶祝一番。原打算去Ginger Bakery，誰知竟盲摸摸走到the coffee academics門前。既然命運如此安排，小妹就順乎天意，入去坐在望向電車路的高木凳位置。其時，店內坐滿了型男索女，有三五成群七嘴八舌的，也是如小妹般單丁呆坐一旁的。在舒適的環境中、輕快的音樂下，各自沉醉於自己的世界中，享受短暫的黃金午飯時間。紅磚牆、復古的吊燈，以及富東方色彩的雕花矮櫃，營造出一陣既傳統又浪漫的情懷，讓人情迷意亂。午市套餐有五個選擇，價錢由$88-$118不等，包主菜、餐湯或沙律，另加$10可選配自家製蛋糕及餐飲一杯。是日餐湯是南瓜忌廉湯，濃稀度適中，富南瓜香且夠鮮甜，入口帶有微辣。主菜小妹揀了Academics Breakfast$108，另加$10要了杯熱檸茶及朱古力蛋糕，當作送給自己2014年的兒童節禮物﹗快樂不是被動地等人給予，而是主動地自己去追求、去製造﹗望著窗外熙來攘往的路人，以及一大班追訪大劉的記者，小妹覺得能置身其外、安坐餐廳內冷眼旁觀，是幾幸福的一件事……熱檸茶茶味不稱

是日晨早活動!活動完結，才十時許，還趕得及吃豐富早餐。但我並沒有這樣做，只是去飲杯咖啡。來杯Latte, 要大的。拉花漂亮，视覺率先得到滿足。然而，不知是否我近日工作太累，呷一口下去，竟覺得杯拿鐵跟我條命同樣苦。喝兩口後，也決定要放糖。談了一輪，又差不多時間下場約會，埋單走人。謝謝阿拔請客!

Like topic, this is a good place for drinking coffee. A lot of coffee vintage photographs are being hanged on the wall and telling about the process of making coffee. A big schedule of coffee class tells customers when you are welcome and learn it together. I had just finished lunch in the area when I passed by The Coffee Academics. I love how part of the place opened up into the street so you can do some people watching while dining there. I was just looking to buy a drink to help with digestion so decided to get some coffee here.There was a big coffee counter inside with many dining tables as well. It was really more like a restaurant than a coffee shop. I was still rather full so decided to get a piccolo latte instead of a regular sized cup.Conv

Having nice deco does not mean you can charge any price.  The coffee is so-so but the pastries are really disappointing.My pear charlotte has a jellified mousse centre, soggy boudoir biscuits and a totally hard and inedible pear like fruit on top.  For $6X dollars, I can go to Robouchon, Petite Amanda, Laduree and have more pleaure in my purchase.Digging their own grave in my opinion.

We visited Coffee Academics for a cafe latte and were underwhelmed.  The coffee was a little bitter and, despite the fancy pour work, was no better than any little cafe in Hong Kong.  It does not challenge 18 Grams in any way.  We opted for the house blend, but it still cost a lot for what we got.  It was priced at 38 dollars for a 6oz coffee, but after the 10% service charge, cost 42 dollars.  Kind of extortionate.  The real joke is that the service charge is totally unjustified, as all they do
