We did miss the Potato Head when it was closed. Fortunately, the new restaurant MELODY who took over the place is a wonderful new replacement.The restaurant consisted of many sections from the covered outdoor terrace, garden lounge then DJ section to the main dining room facing the open kitchen.The environment was very buzzy with music and moody lights. The staff was very hospitable led by the General Manager Jonathan. Since I came for a birthday celebration, we were offered a welcome champagne.We ordered the pumpkin salad and soft shell prawns. The pumpkin was crunchy and prawns reminded me of the Spanish tapas.We were carnivores so we chose the rib eye as the main dish. I liked the little burnt crust on top of the meat. The whole squid stuffed with rice was rich and filling. But the highlight of the main was actually the sea bass! The fish itself was delicious accompanied by the creamy corn at the bottom.I forgot the name of the dessert which was a chocolate ball with ice cream inside.To find a restaurant with great food and service at a reasonable price is not easy, this would definitely be my recommendation! 繼續閱讀

What a delightful brunch experience we had at Melody Hong Kong! 😍🥂 From the starters to the mains and desserts, every dish was a true culinary delight. Here’s a glimpse of our mouthwatering journey, we enjoyed the lovely food with really good live music:Starters:🔸 Selection of House Made Sausages JG: Bursting with flavors, these sausages were a perfect way to kick off our brunch! 🌭🔸 Terrine Campagnarde, Sour Apricot Condiment🔸 Tuna Tartare with Lemongrass Dressing and Shaved Fennel🔸 Burnt Aubergine Escabeche with Pickled Vegetables and Olive Oil: The smoky flavors of the burnt aubergine complemented the tangy pickled vegetables, creating a harmonious balance of tastes. 🍆🥒Mains:🔸 Quarter Suckling Pig, Seriously Buttery Mash, and Barbecued Grapes: The succulent suckling pig paired with creamy buttery mash and the sweet touch of barbecued grapes was an absolute delight! 🐷🍇🔸 Truffle Mushroom Lasagne and Cauliflower Cream: Layers of truffle-infused mushrooms, velvety cauliflower cream, and perfectly cooked lasagne sheets.
