Finally landed at the sister (or should I say brother?) shop of the infamous @bigjjseafood. The queue was surprisingly short and snappy - moved faster than expected at 6:30pm. With just three noodles on the menu, it’s the place for anyone battling decidophobia LOL 🤣𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝗙𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗶𝘅𝗲𝗱 𝗡𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗹𝗲 牛油拌麵An elevated take of their lunch menu at the hotpot shop loaded with more cuts, including beef char siu, ox tongue, tendon and brisket fat with more thoughtful execution👍🏼 The charsiu was a tad tough and didn’t quite meet my hype but I really love the refreshing beef tendon with lime zest🍋𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝗗𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗹𝗲 牛擔擔麵 I love this one more among the two I tried😍 The “broth”, more like a velvety sauce - rich, layered, and packed with depth. Love this more traditional version: minimal soup so the noodles cling to every drop of dressing. It looks fiery, but the heat’s manageable, leaning into that addictive numbing Sichuan vibe.
