繼續生日飯系列。這餐感謝 林公子 做東,抽空替小弟吃慶生飯,順道來個 Happy Hour 互相 catch up,差唔多有半年無碰面喇!當天因為地點就腳,選了吃「Frites Belgium on Tap」比利時菜,我平日中午也會來吃 lunch 呢:在香港吃比利時菜的餐廳,「Frites Belgium on Tap」可說時其中的代表,青口及炸薯條,走不了。事實飲食文化上比利時人酷愛薯條,一般在各個小店或火車站都可以買到小包裝的炸馬鈴薯,當地人叫做 frites (法語),所以這間餐廳就是薯條的意思在內。「Steak Tartare」HK$175牛肉他他一向是我喜愛之物,重點是牛肉新鮮,沒有出血水,切斷所有的筋,塗多士來品嚐原汁肉味就是最佳的吃法:牛與蛋的比例剛好,牛味重,纖維細緻,加蛋後香滑,一點腥味也沒有,再配上酸汁蔬菜沙律解膩,未吃過生牛肉的朋友可以不用怕前來一試:都係果句,來到這裏不吃青口怎樣說不過去。「Frites House Mussels」1/2KG HK$275白酒忌廉汁香草口味,配炸薯條及烘多士,成煲上:青口肉依舊細緻且滑,鮮味都跑到汁裏頭:每次來吃這裏的薯條都是新鮮炸起,非常香脆,乾而不油,可以這樣齋吃,它與烘麵包也可以用來點青口汁的精華:比利時也是一個喜歡甜品的國度,來這裏慶生確是個不錯的選擇,生日願望希望大家事事順利,最緊要身體健康。再次謝謝林公子的心意,賞心悅目的聚餐,又傾咗好多旅遊趣事和大計,新一年大家都繼續暢遊大世界,品嚐不同美食!

I had a disappointing experience at the Fortress Hill branch, particularly with the service from a Caucasian manager, whose attitude felt quite arrogant.I had chosen this location for a birthday lunch with a friend because it’s usually quiet, making it perfect for catching up. When we arrived, there were plenty of empty tables, as expected. My friend selected a table facing the street, and I sat parallel to her so we could both enjoy the view.Unfortunately, the manager approached us in a rather blunt manner, stating that the restaurant expected more customers and that we might need to share our table, even though it was a four-person table with just the two of us. Throughout our lunch, there remained numerous empty tables, which made the situation even more frustrating.Now I understand why Fortress Hill branch often has so many empty tables.

点了express lunch,house mussel,青口真的只有一点点大,蜷缩在占壳不到1/4的地方,另外有四五个空壳+没有开口的,真的很无语,去年在奥运分店吃过一次完全不是这种质素。。。找了服务员,要求换了其他菜讲真买超市的冻货自己在家煮都不会这样。。。是品种不对,时间不对还是怎样? $250一份的lunch set,还是在炮台山,就这种质素?不理解甜品和汤也非常普通

It was a nice meet-up with my bro who came a “looong” way from Taiwan.The place was clean and the greeting was cheerful. I picked my fav chicken Parmesan, nicely cooked and juicy chicken steak.Finished with with crepe (can’t recall the flavour but it’s also quite nice)Perfect place for causal lunch

Happy Friday😗 又到了開心星期五,梗係想搵d好野食下,比e度既青口吸引來了🤭1kg Frites House Mussels 🦪冇失望🫶🏻青口脹卜卜鮮甜得很,加埋忌廉汁好creamy,上面仲有d 乾葱番茄洋蔥調味,用麵包🥖或者薯條🍟蘸埋啲汁嚟食,正宗👍🏻Salmon Tartare 🍣 簡單來說,美味的開胃菜🤭Classic Steak Frites🍟牛排的牛味都足既,肉質嫩滑,食落仍然保留肉汁,幾juicy下😂薯條超脆口,忍唔住食完一定要一條🤫Pizza Margherita 🍕 Pizza相對就普通啲,芝士🧀都好足下
