Fini's (石水渠街)

Just had Fini’s last night for dinner. As expected it was chill and casual and pleasant. Pizza and pasta tasted great but the pasta portion was quite small for the price. Pizza overpriced as well but portion was ok. Service was nice and casual. Been to Fini’s before so I knew what to expect… except for a couple things. Menu was different… informed jt was changed a month ago. Selection is much more sparse now and prices seem to have gone up. Almost $300 for a 16” pizza? I think it used to be this price for the 18” and even then it was expensive. The kicker of the night though was the 12% service charge when the bill came. Maybe it was on the menu but isn’t it usually 10%? Asked the server this and no explanation… I can’t say he was rude about it but he was certainly blunt. “Everywhere else is 10%. I had an amazing lunch at Fini’s recently! My friend has a wheat allergy and I was so impressed with how accommodating they were. The staff was super friendly, ensuring we had gluten-free options. We started with a fresh salad, buffalo wings, and meatballs—everything was crisp and flavorful. Then came the gluten-free mac and cheese—so creamy and cheesy! Overall great vibe in the restaurant, playing 80s and 90s rock/pop music, suitable for big group gatherings.🌟Italian tuna ceviche $148🌊The tuna ceviche portion was smaller than expected. The crisps had a nice crunch to it and accompanies well with the ceviche but the ceviche flavour itself was a bit too oily for me. It was missing the actual tuna flavour and I personally did not like the seasoning.Rigatoni alla vodka $178🍝Rigatoni was good, with a nice rich tomato sauce that was not too creamy. Pasta was cooked to al dente and the sauce also had a nice little kick to it, great dish to keep your stomach warm. The staff was also very nice to offer to warm up the dish when another friend of ours joined late.👍🏻Fini's famous marinara $188🍕My favourite was the pizza.😋I especially liked the thin crust of the pizza, where it does not collapse as you grab it from the serving plate. The crust was also thin with a nice crunch to it. The marinara sauce tastes fresh and go wells with the spicy flavourings of the sauce. The main portions are also generous. 最近食過最好味嘅pasta! 推薦spicy crab and italian sausage penne! 啲sauce coat得啱啱好，fusion咗所以有微辣但接受到，提升咗整道pasta嘅味道。啖啖都有crab mix sausage，pasta al dente口感一流🤤番茄汁tagliatelle用咗日本帶子，雙面sear得好𡃁，剛剛好，入面仲保留到鮮甜嫩滑嘅口感。雙對penne、tagliatelle番茄醬汁多啲，所以麵的軟硬度會偏淋少少。house salad雖然內容很普通，但食得出濃郁橄欖油嘅香味，再coat埋芝士調味出嚟的醬汁好好味。同埋啲青瓜🥒好新鮮好爽脆。番茄仔都好用心，煮完去皮達到鮮甜爆汁嘅效果。Overall好好味，不過餐牌價錢嚟講偏貴，同埋最後服務費係12%，（沒有特別感覺到服務特別好或熱情，都係正常service）。如果人多嘅話可以試下特大pizza一齊share。…查看更多
