Nice decor, depends on what you order the quality is decent. Nice humus.Service - they have this stupid policy that u must order something every 90 mins (waiter will uneasily remind you), even tho there were empty seats in the restaurants. Totally makes you feel like you are sitting in a Cha Chan Teng where they can’t wait to turn the table.Unacceptable hospitality, you guys don’t deserve running a restaurant if this is how you treat your patrons. Unacceptable hospitality, you guys don’t deserve running a restaurant if this is how you treat your patrons.

(just to be clear, it wasn’t our waiter’s fault, he was very polite, and I am shocked by this restaurant’s policy).

Will never recommend this place for that fact alone.

我們叫咗紅酒、2杯cocktail黎飲,cocktail得4款揀,都唔係一般常見款,所以我地就叫侍應推薦下,第一款就啱我飲,第3款就甜甜地啱女仔飲(已忘了名字),總體都唔錯

I personally love Greek food, but it's not very commonly found in HK. I have hence been itching to try out this rather new establishment near my office. I went for the good old hummus dip with vegetable crudités. Actually a bit gutted that they don't serve the dip with pitta bread (well, you can order pitta at a charge but i couldn't be bothered). I opted for a chicken souvlakli. We also ordered a dish of some Greek cheese baked in apricot sauce, upon strong recommendation by the waiter.

Flavor wise, everything was quite good. I was pleasantly surprised by the salad which I think was fried quinoa in yogurt on salad leaves. The souvlakli was quite garlicky but tasty. It came with slightly very oily fries inside though, which I wasn't the biggest fan of. The cheese in apricot sauce was pretty good, but very sweet. I'm personally a cheese fanatic, but not sure if everyone would enjoy it that much.

In conclusion, I liked everything that was served to me, but Geez this place is not cheap. $168 for this amount of food without drinks is rather steep. And of course, after ordering water and an additional baked cheese dish to share, the bill came to way over $200 per person. Quite expensive for a random lunch, but you don't mind the prices, by all means, it's a decent place to go to.

午餐選擇不多,兩個人剛剛好,試齊全個餐牌。Hummus和沙律都很好吃,麵包熱呼呼蠞,帶少少蒜味。沒想到沙律是脆的,一粒粒脆米,很好吃,又開胃。烤肉反而較普通,不差吃但沒驚喜。不過garlic yoghurt和herbed yoghurt幾開胃。再加一份pita bread也可以吃光。最後甜品點了一份。芝士打成泡,入口即消失。輕盈的甜品,吃完也不會內疚。加餅乾碎,內裡混了芝麻,很香很好吃。吃完口裡一陣蒜味,整天不散,但都值得一試。

甜品只得一個選擇,有點似加了石榴的木糠布甸。

總括而言食物不算驚豔,不過朋友說可以再來試試,為什麼?因為服務一流呀!開朗熱情的侍應為這餐加了不少分數!

We enjoyed a quick lunch here on the weekend. I was pleasantly surprised that the lunchset was available.We tried the tzatziki and roasted eggplant dips, both were delicious, especially the tzatziki. The accompanying pita was generous, in fact we couldn’t finish the bread!The “deconstructed” souvlaki was.....interesting. I am used to a massive pita rolled up with meat and salad inside. We enjoyed a quick lunch here on the weekend. I was pleasantly surprised that the lunchset was available.

We tried the tzatziki and roasted eggplant dips, both were delicious, especially the tzatziki. The accompanying pita was generous, in fact we couldn’t finish the bread!

The “deconstructed” souvlaki was.....interesting. I am used to a massive pita rolled up with meat and salad inside. We were given one smallish pita each, cut in half. It’s tricky to roll up the half slice pita with the accompanying meat (pork or chicken), tomato (cut in wedges, not sliced), parsley and onion. It tasted fine but clearly can be a bit messy - thankfully the staff gave us wet wipes afterwards. Perhaps it is served this way so the dish can be shared, if desired.

Both the pork and chicken were tasty ....although with the chicken I preferred the dark meat pieces. I’ll probably come again to try some of the a la carte dishes .

The “hummus” was with rich flavour, stronger garlic flavour than the ones you usually get from supermarket, definitely fine-dining standard.

We had cheesecake as dessert to wrap it up, very cute tiny dessert, was sweet, but with pomegranate to freshen up the sweet cheesy flavour.

Overall, atmosphere and envirounment was really good, we had some good times!

I have been here quite a few times and the food has been consistent.  Pita bread was warm and good to accompany the meze, we requested for less oil being applied to the pita as when cold they became greasy.  A grilled spring chicken main course was surprisingly good - tasteful and succulent.  The calamari was average.  Greek salad - nothing can  match the one I had in Greece, this one didn't even come close.

一入門口,staff 就叮囑客人食飯時間只有1.5小時,到時還枱.......入座,坐位迫到呢.....好聽叫 cozy ,難聽就叫$800多一個人如此待遇完全 not value for money ....本來服務想直接給予不合格,但serve 我們的男生又挺客氣,加回些分數吧。只可惜,我自己個人認為食物水平整體不大理想,除了第一道煎芝士,香脆可口美味,其他就似乎不太出色,其中八爪魚太燶又太咸......另外自帶白酒收corkage 無問題,但為表支持餐廳酒水服務,我們叫了支過千圓紅酒,但非常可惜,口感香氣味道似只值零售店約$100的貨色....雖事先已明白不能對希臘菜要求過多,但也想不到如此水平會來競爭激烈的香港開業.....只能說,可能西人對飲食比較寬容。

When the waitress knows that the taramasalata served here does not contain cod roe, full marks for her knowledge. But zero points to the cook who makes it. The bland wallpaper paste that is offered up is very fishy: fishy in the sense that it borders on the fake, not because it tastes like something scraped from a cod’s reproductive system - it doesn’t. It costs HK$88. But to enjoy your paste you need pita bread which, in Greece, comes as a natural accompaniment to the starter. Not here at this

It costs HK$88. But to enjoy your paste you need pita bread which, in Greece, comes as a natural accompaniment to the starter. Not here at this self-proclaimed “traditional Greek taverna that celebrates the inherent simplicity of Greek cooking”. You have to fork out another HK$28 for one pita artfully sliced into six smaller portions which are just not big enough to accommodate all the “tarama” supplied. So you need to order another pita and now that’s HK$56.

A check on the internet reveals that a pack of 10 pita breads will cost the equivalent of HK$28 in a UK supermarket.

Carry on like this and, if the profits get anywhere near being repatriated to Greece, then the country’s financial crisis will be solved in a month or so. Maybe they should think about renting out the plates to diners or charging an insurance premium in case food gets spilled onto your lap and the debt will then vanish overnight.

The Lukaniko sausage was very good. But slicing this pork, seeds and leek savoury into artfully tasty trapezoids does not make up for the fact that it needs something else on the plate to give it a visual oomph.

A tomato quarter, a bit of roasted red pepper or a sprig of something green would have made the sliced coil of culinary loveliness look less like a turd.

Grilled octopus at HK$188 was jaw-dropping in flavour and price.

You can take it that I think this restaurant is price gouging and taking its customers for a ride. And that journey goes nowhere near the “spirit of the tavernas of old”.

Oh, and the music was too loud.

I have been to Artemis & Apollo for the first time and it was definitely not the last time! It was one of those evenings where everything was just perfect. The food was exceptional - the Chef has created a menu which offers a fine selection of what is best in Greece. The service, which for me is a key factor when dining out, was fantastic. People were very caring and they always had an eye on their guests. The design of the restaurant is super nice and reminded me of my last visit in Santorini.

All in all, I can highly recommend that place - for me it’s one of the must-go-restaurants in HK!
