來到太古城, 這裏真的太多寶藏 餐廳, 在港島東中心附近的 A POELE, 是假期享受時光的好地方。 精緻優雅嘅環境, 柔和的燈光, 輕鬆的音樂, 而且服務非常優質。紅酒燴牛面,白蘑菇,土豆泥淋滑又非常鬆軟的牛面肉, 濃濃的牛肉味道, 土豆泥creamy 香滑,配惹味醬汁。香煎牛扒與蛋 烤焗薯完美的sunny side up 煎蛋, 鬆軟雪朵質感, 配香脆煎蛋燶邊。 牛扒粉嫩多汁,五成熟剛剛好, 清晰的炭烤紋理, 再配埋 烤焗薯 非常滿足。蘋果金寶完美的一天,當然需要甜品, 即叫即造的蘋果金寶, 表層香香脆脆, 蘋果香甜充滿肉桂味道。查看更多

French Cuisine with a Semi-Luxury Atmosphere

I was captivated by the unique roadside dinning atmosphere, and walked in for lunch. Not sure how restaurants in France actually look like, but the aesthetics of the establishment did capture a European-vibe, with its wine rack, wide expo station, and fancy yellow lights. When the menu arrived, we were given the option for an appetizer and a main course, with drinks, desserts, and other snacks requiring additional add-on fees. I think I've yet to see a menu where almost half of the options require additional costs. Nevertheless, we caved in and decided to chip in extra costs for the French Porkchop and the Steak, along with a salad, stuffed eggs, and a hot latte.Firstly, the appetizers. I gotta say, I really enjoyed the quality and flavor bread and the eggs; The bread was baked nicely, and the eggs were well seasoned and were delivered with creative and appeasing presentation. Usually I'm not a fan of boiled eggs due to the hard sandy yolk inside, but it seems like the chefs have infused the yolk with truffles and some sort of spicy sauce (maybe mayo?), which overcame my usual pickiness. The salad was alright in terms of taste, but upon arrival the portion size seem unworthy compared to its cost, and the veggies just looked a bit wilted and sloppy. I think there were barely 8 pieces of spinach on there haha.On the other hand, here come the main courses. The steak was a bit of a disappointment, since we asked for medium and they were served quite well done, so it was a bit hard to chew through. On the other hand, the porkchop was nice, fatty, and surprisingly tender despite its size and thickness, I really enjoyed every bite of it until the end when there was no more fat, and sadly lost my appetite. Though the steak was mediocre, I must say I am quite impressed with the porkchop, and never knew such a hefty slab of meat could harbor that much flavor and butter, and still taste that soft, delicate, and juicy.Not a bad first time after all, and I would be excited to try out more of its dishes (and more bread). But would be nice if I had more portions for my appetizers, and more included sides/drinks that would validate the high cost.查看更多
