This restaurant has been new for quite awhile, neighbourhood has been talking about their tender pork chop, I decided to give it a try. I ordered their pork chop rice in hoisin XO sauce. Portion seems not as big as I expected like typical cha chaan ting. When I closed to finishing it, it was actually just right. I was satisfyingly full. XO sauce was great, not too spicy or oily and with generous amount of dry scallops. Pretty unique taste that believing it was their secret sauce. Pork chop was soft and moist, easily cut it with fork and spoon. It was thoughtful that they served boneless pork. Every bite was meaty.
Rice was served with a side salad. Vinaigrette could be less as the rice beside was soaked and tasted acidic. All in all, nice to have some vegetables.
From what the staff recommended their signatures were actually their Japanese fry egg and soup noodle, their rice dish was also a good option.
Despite restaurant was small, staff tried their best to split the seatings so customers could sit more comfortable.
It was a pleasant place to have a quick meal. Good job.
