Visited this social enterprise resto in North Point with my family for lunch to celebrate Father's Day..My dad ordered the Soy Sauce Braised Black Sugar Pork Cartilage Yam Noodles with Soft-Boiled Egg (HKD108). The pork cartilage had a nice portion of meat and fat, and it was tender with elastic cartilage. The noodles were al dente and the soft-boiled egg had a runny yolk. My sis ordered Chicken Thigh Rice with Sand Ginger Powder (HKD98). The chicken thigh was well-marinated with the ginger powder. It was quite meaty and paired well with the rice. My mom ordered Pueraria (Kudzu) & Red Bean Pork Rib Soup Rice (HKD68). The dish actually only included one slice of pork rib, and it also contained some pork intestine. I ordered Sichuan Style Spicy Shredded Chicken Bun (HKD62). The shredded chicken was definitely savoury and appetising with the mala sauce. The cucumber added freshness to the bun. Together with the bun, they created a mouthful combination, and it was really enjoyable to have them in one bite. The set meal also came with an appetizer and dessert. The appetizer was cucumber with fungus, while the dessert was Steamed Rice Cup Cake with Red Bean. .The resto specialises in making traditional Chinese pastry, so I may revisit to try their desserts.
