夜晚收工突然想食烏冬，見唔駛等位入左去食環境普通，職員落單都快手既今次埋單連加一都過百 (不過屯市食飯一向都唔平)質素唔差但未至於值呢個價錢我睇午市比晚市平一截，食午市會覺得抵食啲🤔。手打墨魚餅石鍋烏冬🍜烏冬用熱石鍋保持食到尾都keep住熱辣辣今次揀左牛乳忌廉湯底，都幾香濃但唔膩烏冬彈牙，無因為石鍋既熱度而影響到佢變淋墨魚餅有4-5片，正常質素，中間有啲豆類增加口感另外加錢配左一杯氮氣荔枝茶唔算好甜，純粹加左啲氣咁，飲唔出有咩特別😂…查看更多

We were meeting friends for dinner in the area. But as we live very far away, we decided to go to Tuen Mun earlier and explore the area. Not sure where to eat, we decided to just eat at the mall and chose 竹棧 (English name: Bamboo Inn). It served Japanese of all kinds. Menu is in English and Chinese. They had lunch sets that included a drink. Boyfriend had a Bamboo Inn Chicken Chop and Minced Chicken With Rice ($56). A large portion of rice was given. The chicken was a bit on the dry side and the sauce on top was very sweet. There was two pieces of minced chicken that actually had tiny soft bone. Probably the best out of everything here.I had the Scrambled Eggs with Beef Udon ($62). The udon was soft and soggy. The soup was basically MSG and not much beef or even a dashi broth. The egg was soft and there were some chewy pieces of beef.The menu said sets included salad, appetizer, pickled vegetables, miso soup and rice. Only a salad was provided for me and nothing was given to boyfriend. I'm not sure why. But then we didn't say anything as the salad really wasn't very interesting. Just lettuce with super salty sesame dressing. Lettuce was a bit brown at the tips but at least it was still crunchy.Food wasn't really good but then we weren't expecting much here.
