Remember I tried 煎餅in 長沙in the Mainland and since then I always want to have another one. And finally I could take time to travel to Whampoa to try this provably the only 煎餅shop in Hong Kong. It’s a very small shop for takeouts only. Not many choices in the menu indeed so I followed the recommendation of many OpenRice comments to have Peking Duck plus extra egg and 薄脆 。It took about 15 mins for them to make my order and they reminded me to eat it as soon as possible. Well, i’d say it is not necessary to add extra 薄脆and egg as now i feel i’m only eating the crisps 😅
The taste is good and very filling. Just Peking duck will be Peking duck …..😆😅🤣 in other words, it is not very special…. Probably it’d be better to have simple stuffings like hams, sausages, veggies, etc. but interestingly, the sausage option is always not available.
