🌟 We had an absolutely delightful experience at Maxim’s Chinese, where we were invited to try their new wellness menu. Specially designed for city dwellers, this menu features remarkable dishes crafted in collaboration with Chinese and Western medicine experts, focusing on women’s health and wellness.As a mom who juggles both family and work, my wife rarely gets the chance to slow down and care for herself. With the changing seasons, it’s even more important for her to nourish and rebalance her body. This wellness menu was a thoughtful treat — each dish is made with carefully selected medicinal ingredients sourced from across China, tailored to support immunity and overall vitality.Our taste adventure began with the refreshing Chilled Golden Ear Fungus in Vinegar Sauce, a perfect start that’s great for detoxifying! Next, we savored the nourishing Double-boil Black Chicken Soup with Dang Seng, Milkvetch Root, Wolfberry and Whelk, which is perfect for boosting immunity and keeping warm during these chilly autumn evenings.The highlight for us was the exquisite Fish Maw & Hulled Barley in Pumpkin Soup, known for its warming and nourishing properties, ideal for enhancing skin’s health and vitality. We also enjoyed the Braised Chicken with Dong Quai, which helps improve circulation and combat cold hands and feet while bringing out a healthy glow.To finish our meal, we couldn’t resist the wonderfully unique Wampi & mung bean dumpling, a delightful sweet treat that rounds off our healthy dining experience.Sharing this wonderful journey of wellness with our 4-year-old daughter made it even more special. 💕 Watching her enjoy these wholesome dishes and learn about the benefits of good food brought us so much joy!
