Came here for lunch and the place was packed. Liked the atmosphere, clean and not super cramped. Ordered Hainan chicken with rice, chicken and sauce were very tasty but the rice was too soft I think. 
Turnip cake with black sauce looked nice but the turnip cake was more like cubes of flour instead so I wouldn't recommend it.Saw some people having laksa which looked good, I would come back to try other dishes as I quite like Singaporean food.…查看更多

the food was good at the Tin Hau location before it closed, particularly the chicken rice. And I tried the Central location for the first time, but was dissapointed by the fried black Hokien mee. Never had such a bad dish there before. The noodles had too much sauce, the shrimp was not fresh, no eggs inside, and no "wok air". nothing like I had in Singapore. 在Open Rice見到喇沙好似好好吃,好久沒有吃了,於是昨午和同事去吃了喇沙。喇沙的樣子真是好靚, 味道都幾好,不過不夠椰香和辣,味道淡一點,和在新加坡吃的不太一樣,可能是要迎合香港市場吧。喇沙和一柸drink, 共$55, 要再加一。另外,要了炒蘿蔔糕 ($55),有白色和黑色的,白色是用蛋炒,黑色是用甜豉油炒。叫了白色,因為不想吃甜的,味道好好,好味。見到別人吃海南雞飯,個樣似好好吃,一定要再去試下。…查看更多

Since I've been craving for some decent Singaporean food for the whole week, me and my friend decided to go to Parsar (Wellington Street) for dinner after happy hour drinks at LKF. I have been to this place for about 10 times, both for lunches and dinners. Despite the fact that I have heard that this place is opened and run by Singaporeans, I never find the food here very authentic. But nothing is worse than my experience here tonight.We ordered Singaporean style Hokkien Mee, Roti with Curry sauce and Stir Fried Tulip cake in black sauce. Big "Thumb Down" for all the dishes we ordered tonight. Tulip cake was crap, it had not taste at all. I thought I was eating chunks of flour. Roti and Curry sauce was also crap. The curry sauce was not even spicy and tasty, and it was very watery. The worst dish was the Hokkien Mee. This is the first time I ate a Singaporean style hokkien mee fried in prawn paste. It was disgusting!!! The fish cake used in the noodles was off too.I believe I am giving fair comments since half of my family is from Singapore. So I believe that I know what authentic Singaporean food taste like. To think that this place is run by Singaporeans, sigh!!! My adivse to the people who run this place is: it's time to put some heart into the cooking, otherwise you gonna to lose all business soon. Food here was always only average to me in terms of taste and authenticity. And no comment for the services here too. But after tonight's experience, I doubt I would ever go back.
