Conveniently located, it’s easily accessible by tram, bus, minibus, or MTR - just take the Central MTR Station and walk five minutes from Exit C. If you’re driving, parking is available at the Man Yee Building, with two hours of free parking for spending $800+ or one hour for $400+. The restaurant is wheelchair-friendly (street-level entrance) and offers a wide selection of traditional Chiu Chow dishes. Their marinated dishes (滷水) are particularly famous - perfectly seasoned and not overly salty. Another standout is their signature shark’s fin soup, especially the 紅燒大鮑翅 ($488 per bowl). They are so good. During my visit, I tried the Goose’s Blood (滷水鵝紅) for the first time - mild in flavor but incredibly soft and tender. The 水芥菜 (watercress) was also excellent - crisp and full of flavor. I’m a fan of Chiu Chow desserts, but we were too full to try many this time. We did sample the 清心丸綠豆爽, which was served warm with just the right level of sweetness. While the food quality is excellent, prices are on the higher side. The restaurant has private rooms (both large and small), which are quieter but come with a minimum charge and service fee. Note that there’s a corkage fee of HK$50 per bottle, but cake cutting is free. The restrooms are clean and well-maintained. Given the delicious food and great experience, I’ll definitely return to try more dishes!

與家人一行7大2小第一次光顧呢間潮州酒家,位置方便而且裝修及價錢亦偏向親民。 午餐叫了例牌鵝片、炆鵝掌煲、潮州炸豆腐、椒鹽九肚魚、煎蠔餅、薑葱筒蠔、沙茶牛肉河、炆介菜煲及甜品綠豆爽。特別要讚賞煎蠔餅香口而且蠔仔亦大粒,比起某些酒樓會將蠔餅油炸,這裏的蠔餅是名符其實正宗做法。我們一家是潮州人,家裏雖不多煮潮州菜,但外出用餐光顧不少傳統潮州菜館,包括以前九龍城的潮州菜館。 今次試的菜式大概只有一部份是潮州菜式,個人感覺鵝片亦算不錯,沙茶牛肉河是如常地醬汁比河粉多,只是介菜煲偏鹹,這個煲除了用醬汁烹煮而非清湯煮之外,我夾的介菜不知是否有加鹽但又未煮溶,所以吃到一口很鹹的鹽味。非潮州菜式例如薑葱蠔煲醬汁收得比較好,醬汁量剛剛好,蠔亦是大大隻,味道不錯。鵝掌煲及介菜煲相比醬汁過多亦較鹹。大家很滿意餐後嘗的甜品綠豆爽。整體來說,以酒家的環境、每碟餸菜的質量及定價來說,是適合一家大細的消費水平,如果個人口味怕醬汁及怕鹹的話,就儘量不要叫用以上醬汁較多的菜式。今次因仍有很多潮州菜式未試,下次再光顧要集中叫多些,例如蝦棗、蟹棗、檸檬鴨湯、酥炸荔芋鴨、石榴雞、川椒雞、水瓜烙及反沙芋等等,才試到酒家實力。

## 食評:中環潮州菜老店今日同媽咪去咗中環食一間有50年歷史嘅潮州菜餐廳。入到去,環境十分舒適,店舖比我想像中大好多,因為我哋11點幾到,唔算多人,見到幾多熟客已經訂咗枱。### 小菜1. **招牌滷水鵝片**: - 份量幾好,滷水味道非常入味,鵝肉鬆軟好味,豆腐亦滷得幾香,搭配醋食,味道剛好。2. **潮州梅羔骨**: - 味道酸酸甜甜,肉味濃郁,上菜時仲熱辣辣,係下次想再點嘅小菜,十分好味。3. **春菜煲**: - 裡面有燒肉同上湯,份量大,味道亦都幾好,食得好滿足。4. **芋頭香飯煲**: - 整個煲熱辣辣,啲芋頭香氣四溢,味道好好,底部仲有少少焦,份量亦唔少。### 餐前小食- 餐前嘅甜甜地嘅鹹酸菜,搭配飯後嘅功夫茶,十分正宗,令人感到懷舊。### 總結整體而言,今次用餐體驗唔錯,環境舒服,係中環少有嘅潮州飯館。食物質素高,服務亦好,絕對值得再來!
