Made to order, I don't mind the wait as long as it's ready. It happened to be a holiday.
It's ready in about 15-20 minutes.
As soon as I opened it, I was delighted! 🤩
Bright red chicken is sprinkled on top of the rich cheese, along with shredded green peppers and purple onions for a vibrant, fragrant flavor. It's piping hot, and I can't wait to take a bite. The charred exterior and tender chicken on the inside, spiced and flavorful, melt into the cheese and crispy crust. It's beyond words. You really have to try it to experience the exotic flavors! 😋
I'm a fan of sizzling Tandoori chicken. I didn't expect chicken to be transformed into a pizza, and it has such a unique flavor! 😋
But pizza seems to have been available here first? I don't see it on other branch's delivery platforms!
I never thought they'd offer anything also good taste as Indian tikka chicken biryani.
The fried rice is spicy and flavorful, each grain distinct, and the chicken is spicy, crispy, tender, and tender.
(More hidden) Make sure to mix well.
It's surprise to see the exotic spices, so fragrant! 😋
The Indian chicken curry is slightly spicy and rich.
The chicken is tasty too, but I don't know why they pill it out chicken skin in India. 🥲 It's my favorite! 🤤
It's best eaten with naan bread.
I've recently discovered that chips are even better with curry sauce. Eat it! Once you've tried it, you'll know how tasty it is. You won't be able to stop eating it! 🤤
I've always been a Habib's big fan. Over the past few years, starting with the pandemic, I've visited all of their branches.
Through the pandemic, staff changes, and ups and downs in quality,
It still stands strong today.
Of course, they have their strengths.
Especially in this food court, which has been so prosperous and declining since the pandemic, many stalls are now empty?! I expected them to be the last remaining stall 👍🏾. Looking back, it seems like a stall I once patronized is still around, so I have to give my food reviewing skills a thumbs up 😁
Overall, the food at every branch is generally tasty😋 and the foreign staff are mostly very nice 😊. While the price of the set meal has increased significantly from $48 to $68 in three years, it's still quite affordable (typically on the pricier side for Indo-Pakistani-Turkish Mediterranean restaurants). However, at this price point, there's plenty of competition out there! Especially in these tough times, perhaps there are other options?!
Personally, I think the Tuen Mun branch has the best food and the cooking is excellent. 😋 It's probably more of an Indian/Pakistani clientele (based on my observations while dining there).
The flavors naturally skew towards foreigners, who tend to prefer stronger flavors, so it's more suited to my "heavy" palate. 😋 It's a bit of a bummer, so I have to wait for a weekend to make the hour-long drive to find it. I'm incredibly dedicated, and luckily, I've never been disappointed.
You might think it's not top-tier, but that's the price. If you find something more affordable, please let me know! Thanks!🙏🏾
題外話/補充資料:
If I were to rank the best service and highest happiness index, then it would be "Tin Hau" With a smile on their face and a cheerful chatterbox, this small, ground-floor takeout place is mostly locals, and the flavors are naturally... While catering to locals, the flavors are moderately strong, yet still retain a Middle Eastern flavor that's quite tasty, too. 😋
As for the Kwun Tong stalls, they're primarily local customers with similar tastes, so they might be more suitable for locals. For those who prefer stronger flavors, I think they're just fine. 👌🏽 The cooking and ingredients are average, and the flavors are a bit bland. I've seen locals give them good reviews, but it depends on personal preference.
If you're looking for a more similar environment, 📸 the "Selfie photo" stall in the Kwun Tong industrial building food court might be more to your liking. Before the pandemic, you could dine in at the stall with its European-style murals and elegant sofas. I wonder when this started happening? Has it been relegated to being sold separately from the neighboring stalls? Is it now only offering takeout after the pandemic? I'm unsure. 🤔 Or can you sit at the other unlabeled public tables and chairs reserved for individual stalls?
Unless I go to work in the Kwun Tong industrial area, the journey is always winding. The factory streets are pretty quiet on holidays, and the street safety isn't great these days, especially for female.
above is just overall basic conclusion, please refer detailed individual branch's food review
and it just my personal preference.
