Cheese tarts had made a fuss in Hong Kong about a year ago, especially when BAKE opened their first stall in Hong Kong. At that time, people needed to wait for 2 hours to buy cheese tarts… I did not have energy to do that, so I chose to wait until the trend was not as hot as in that time.I went to the Sogo stall bought some take- away. Queued for around 15 minutes, which was good for me. I got home in 20 minutes and could not wait to taste it! The tart itself was very crumbly, having strong butt

The tart itself was very crumbly, having strong butter taste, but the cheese part was not as good I expected. I liked the top burnt part though. There was a thin layer of skin to trap the cheese paste inside. Creamy was supposed to be nice, but I found the cheese paste on the tart was too creamy, that the texture was not like cheese or even cream cheese. Maybe they added much cream to make this super fine texture, so the cheese taste was not very strong. The sweetness level was fine for me. At $20, I think it is quite expensive. Still, I tried it, finally!
