Since i was having dinner alone and going to library after that, I planned to have a quick dinner nearby. While walking past this cafe, i was attracted by their reasonable price. Okinawa gyomin shokudo was located at Reclamation Street, just beside Yau Ma Tei police station. Their menu was simple and straight forward, offering just don set or udon set, as well as snacks and drinks etc.Drink is included as long as we ordered rice or udon. Drink is included as long as we ordered rice or udon. Since the weather was hot, i ordered sugar cane with coconut water. It was cooling and sweet, perfect during this hot weather.
Pan grilled pork chop with half boiled egg rice - It was presented nicely, with the half boiled egg placed on top of the rice. Egg was soft and smooth, going well with the rice when mixed. Pork chop was grilled till the skin was crispy and the meat was very juicy and chewy.
