Texas burger has always been on my to-eat list; but the location is quite far away from cwb. We came all the way today as we were craving for burger. we ordered their famous Texas BBQ burger, it was delicious 😋 very huge. The meat was crunchy on the outside and moist inside, with onion rings and cheese and bacon making it a perfect combo! we also ordered the truffle fries 🍟 they offer a home sauce instead of the usual truffle mayo. I and my wife each ordered a Texas BBQ Burger, and my kids had a English Cheddar Burger set. Mine should have been medium, but the middle layer of the patty was raw, and the meat disintegrated when trying to eat it. The English Cheddar cheese on the other burger (who ever heard of such a thing in Texas?!) was burned to the point of being crispy, and the burger came with what appeared to be Russian dressing (starting to sound like the UN Security Council burger). The "pickle" that came with the burger set was certainly from a jar of what I guess was German supermarket pickles (vinegar and sugar taste). Taste overall rated 2/5 stars, and 0/5 for authenticity.My burger came first (surprisingly after the drinks + 1 point for not serving the drinks like they were dessert), second arrived 4 minutes later, but the third arrived long after I had finished eating (at least 10 minutes later). I suppose the kitchen can only accommodate one burger on the griddle at a time... 1/5 stars for speed.Decor inside had nothing to do with Texas. The only attempt was a neon sign and a wire bust of a pony's head on the wall. Plastic molded seats were moderately comfortable, but nothing special. Service was average to poor, with below standard English level and no initiative to take an order or accommodate any special requests. 2/5 stars for ambience and service.Price for the burgers was insanely high for the Fortress Hill side of Tin Hau. Burgers were $78-88/each, plus $33 extra for half a pickle, small fries, and unimpressive (artificial) green apple soda. With mandatory 10% service charge the total was almost $450 for three meals and 4 drinks at a hole in the wall. 1/5 stars for value.McDonald's would have been faster, tastier, better service, and 1/3 of the price (and far more "American"). Book 左位，于指定时间10分钟前到达，其实都明白吾系即刻有位，但意想不到的是walk in 的以及迟来的都可以先入，最后喺预定时间后25分钟先入到。食物方面，汉堡内馅唔错，酱汁ok，但包的部分太干硬，影响整体感觉。或者系服务员只有一位的关系，当时未能提供令人满意既回应态度；另外餐牌上有食物更换了材料，与图不符，没有事先向客人说明，到上枱先发现，难以接受。都明白餐牌食物会因应情况而有所改变，若店员可以事先坦白，咁就唔洗搞到气氛咁僵。其实店面增加人手，大家沟通会良好d，可以减少好多麻烦；另外目前安排座位方面真系有问题，派筹或者系一个解决方法，唔洗好似而加咁乱晒龙。…查看更多
