Ora Lamma Island

Wanna get some fresh air recently so went to Lamma Island again on a Friday evening. Just 20min ferry. This cozy cafe is always on top of my list. The cold cut plater is absolutely amazing: the salami is one of the best of my life! (You know, some restaurants give you salami and cheese which are cold and hard in texture)Crispy bread.The Sicilian arancini brings me back to the days of traveling in Catania. Yummy! The two pasta truly surprise me - black truffle ravioli and salmon cream pasta: both sources are so rich and they smell so good. Bumped into this cozy Italian restaurant this afternoon on Lamma. A nice place for friend gathering and definitely for dating! 🤭Tried out two pasta and some homemade dessert and coffee🍨☕️Dark Knight is superb and a must try 😋 Chewy squid ink spaghetti with fresh clams and garlic chilli seasoning is the best ! ( Possibly a fun fact: their pasta seems to name after the color of the main sauces, so u will also have Snow White, Red Eyes and Green nuts)The restaurant owner is a lovely lady and she invited us to try a new addition (Truffle dumplings with minced mushroom) they’ll have to the menu. Tiramisu is something I would like to have more if my blood sugar level allows. You can literally taste a tinge of rum blended with the creaminess of chocolate. Their coffee is also nice. I order rose lattée, which brought me back to the days in Yunnan when I indulged myself to every food made with rose petal. Overall, a lovely dining experience after touring this little island. 2025年第一日，想揾啲好嘢食。同女朋友谂起之前Bookworm cafe店主推介我地要试新Ora cafe既意粉，话新店主系意大利人，仲要系职业厨师，咁就抱住期待去试下新cafe，新餐单。去到Ora叫左2款pasta+1份薯条+2杯Americano。Green nuts外表睇落好有食欲，橄榄油同nuts既香气浓郁，酱汁包裹著手制意粉，每一啖意粉都有挂到汁，真系好好食。意粉煮得啱啱好，唔会太淋或者太硬，系Al dente。Maroon moon薯仔同面粉造既意粉，好松软又唔会好散，软绵绵既口感配上香浓蕃茄肉酱，令人忍唔住一啖接一啖咁食。薯条薯条唔系好幼𠮶款，有少少粗度。炸得啱啱好，睇落就知系用新橄榄油去炸，外皮够脆而中间系软绵绵热辣辣，好食!整体上用料十分新鲜，份量很足，我偏向大食，都食得饱，性价比超级高。店主同佢太太都十分friendly，会过嚟倾下计，店主好大方咁分享佢既生活同工作，令我地都觉得识多左个朋友。如果嚟既话可以同店长夫妇倾下计，佢地very easy to talk to，唔洗怕的。cafe环境好好，非常干净整洁，食物外形美观，重要好食，色味俱佳。菜色选择都多，价格方面唔贵。嚟南丫岛既朋友记得要试下…查看更多

上两个星期同朋友去南丫岛, 经过呢间天蓝色嘅cafe觉得装修几舒服就入去试吓~虽然菜式唔多(应该因为啱啱新开), 但食物好有惊喜! Pizza, spaghetti口感味道一流! 同朋友试咗cocopresso & sodapresso 特色咖啡, 饮完会觉得意犹未尽😌 价钱一啲都唔贵, 位置又宽敞. 如果自己住南丫岛, 真系会成日带本书或者MacBook 喺度过一个晏昼💙食食吓个厨师仲有出嚟问我哋觉得啲嘢食点. 原来厨师系意大利人, 佢话俾我哋知原来蕃茄都有分好多种, 用嚟配唔同嘅菜式. 感觉佢对食物质素要求好高, 难怪食物咁有灵魂!…查看更多
