Disappointing Experience at M&S Café – Needs Major ImprovementI recently visited the M&S Café with some expectations, given the brand’s reputation, but left thoroughly disappointed. 1. Matcha Latte– This was a complete letdown. It tasted like plain warm milk with zero matcha flavor—no earthy bitterness, no aroma, just blandness. To make it worse, it wasn’t even hot enough for the price, I expected at least a decent matcha kick, but this was worse than what I could make at home with minimal effort. 2. Carbonara with Bacon- totally unappetizing with presentation was messy and looked nothing like a proper carbonara. The taste was just a heavy, one-note cream sauce with no depth or savoriness.This felt like a lazy attempt at Western cuisine, especially disappointing since M&S should know better. For a café under a reputable name like M&S, the quality was shockingly poor. The prices do not match the subpar execution—this isn’t some cheap fast-food joint.
