Hidden in a home appliance and cookware store, this restaurant allows you to literally test their grill machines by providing you food. You can try out their German Pool products and have a meal at the same time. This is probably one of the smartest and most innovative ideas I have witnessed so far - absolutely genius. Besides the game-changing dinning experience, the overall atmosphere was quite contrasting, as the eating area itself was kinda dark, while everything else around it (the selling section and the windows) was very bright, which for sure took a while for my eyes to adjust.Along came the food, and my gosh is it cheap. For a lunch set of Korean Barbecue Meats it only costed each person around $88-98, and they gave quite a sufficient amount of servings of pork/beef too. This is quite cheap for an average location in Hong Kong, but I guess the main goal for this establishment is to encourage you to buy their products instead of focusing on serving outstanding quality food.To start, the latte, mushroom soup, and fried calamari were insanely good. I really enjoyed the chunky bits of mushroom since it reflected the staff using freshly chopped mushrooms rather than the typical creamy canned soup you find in Campbells. The fried calamari was nice too, and its crunchiness was a great contrast to the meats we were having. The main course was not only well priced, but absolutely delicious as well. I really enjoyed the variety of side dishes we had, and I never had a single issue with using the grill despite using it for the first time. The staff took meticulous craft in the portioning of each food item, and I felt full satisfied and satiated with ever dish. The pork belly in particular was my personal highlight: well marinated, fatty, and juicy. Overall, for sure a place I will try to visit again anytime in the future, and who knows maybe I WILL BUY THAT GERMAN POOL GRILL MYSELF!!??…查看更多
