This restaurant is the only one in Hong Kong located in the heart of Wan Chai. It is a very old restaurant famous for the traditional Jiang Zhe cuisine. Ambience is good and it’s very convenient. You can access there by bus, minibus, tram or MTR. Get off at Wan Chai MTR station Exit A3 and with 4-min walk. If you drive, parking is difficult but there is parking lot at farther distance like Tai Yau Plaza and need to walk back. There is lift going up to 1st floor, so wheelchair is ok. Two entrances from two different streets fyi…. The food presentation is very nice while the food quality is excellent. Needless to say, the chef cooks very well and the food is served nice & hot. Flavor is very good too. Service is generally ok. They have restroom inside the restaurant and it’s clean. From the menu, you can tell the price is a bit high but food quality is really good. Their fish, shrimps are fantastic. Soup is great! They won many awards and presented on the wall. They charge HK$100 per bottle if you bring your own wine and no charge for cake cutting.

香酥鴨(半隻$178)望落好似有啲乾但食落唔會,而且佢起晒骨,個底仲炸到好脆口,同平時食嘅好唔同。見到有乾炸響鈴($78)忍唔住叫,食落超鬆脆,又無油膱味,如果平時打邊爐有呢隻響鈴就正啦🤣杭州炒飯($128)好似平時楊州炒飯咁,但係佢係落咗豉油,食落嘅味道會豐富啲。原本叫上湯小菠菜($108),但冇晒菠菜就轉做莧菜,份量都算幾多,莧菜亦都煮到好腍。

最後叫埋高力豆沙(4件$88),唔會好似其他店咁中間空心,入面有滿滿嘅豆沙餡,但又唔會太甜,有呢個甜品收尾好滿足🥰

心血來潮去杭州酒家吃傳統懷舊菜式。先來一個醉香乳鴿,體積真的不少,浸淫在非常芳香的紹興酒內,乳鴿可口,刀工也很幼細,方便一口吃。再來兩客蟹皇翅,味道非常濃郁,內有很多蟹黃,稍嫌薑味比較重,比較一般的紅燒翅美味很多,非常濃郁。再叫了一個龍井蝦仁,蝦仁非常新鮮,蝦的體積比較細隻但配以浙醋非常鮮味,龍井味芳郁,值得一吃再吃。再來一個醬烤茄子,魚香茄子吃得太多了,這個醬烤茄子非常濃味配以豬肉絲及春筍,不會太油膩,所有醬汁入了茄子內非常好味,值得推薦!最後來一個煎鍋貼,體積比較大,雖然只有四隻已經很飽了。整體來說,水準很好,我會再來吃。

上湯菠菜好嫩


仲有個豆腐雙臭真係一試難忘!佢係勁臭臭,正常未必頂得順,我之後同同啲friend講返,佢話好難食,我又覺得唔係難食,因為其實佢仲好出色,好突出嘅一味餸,只係佢本身係臭嘅菜式🤣唔識形容,不過我覺得一生人點都要試一次


最後仲加咗個桂花酒釀丸子,勁香桂花味,勁大碗$48 ,大家捧住個肚走


要讚一讚吳經理,好醒目 做嘢爽快

【 杭州臭豆腐 】特別歸特別,「臭菜臭豆腐」本是名菜,那陣印刷廠的油墨味,其實小妹覺得不臭,當然不是愉悅的香味,只是氣味很奇妙,今晚這道臭豆腐,吃下去沒有甚麼豆味,當然也沒有臭味,淡然白紙一張似的,這樣何必大費周章?不如就咁煮個豆腐吃好過啦。
