這間歷史悠久,已開業接近七十年的「雪山冰廳」,自從在好一段日子前翻新過後,我便沒有去過了,直到這一晚,我才與太太一起舊地重遊來探探它。這冰廳原來的舊裝修當然沒有了,取而代之的是一個亮堂堂的,現代化了的環境,企理乾淨,坐得也比以前舒服。這天來到,我倆點了冰室推介的「始祖椒鹽豬扒飯(炒底)」($78)加燉湯(+$15)、一份「上湯香菇浸時蔬」($35)和一個包括「經典芝蛋牛肉漢堡配迷你肉醬意粉」($62)的常餐。「始祖椒鹽豬扒飯(炒底)」因為用上了炒飯底,又添加了辣椒在炒飯裡面,剛剛炒起便上桌,是名副其實的熱辣辣。炒飯炒得甚好,飯粒乾身分明,雖然稍油,仍然好吃,而且相當刺激開胃。早已切成數件的椒鹽豬扒,泛著油光,十分惹味,不過就稍有點鹹,以「凍檸茶」(+$3)伴吃,正好解辣解膩和把鹹味沖淡。這天的燉湯是「牛蒡杞子燉赤肉」,湯味清甜可口,是好喝的燉湯。「經典芝蛋牛肉漢堡配迷你肉醬意粉」吃的絕對是老派港式西餐風味。傳統的港式漢堡包,包上撒了大量芝麻,包身柔軟,芝士、煎蛋與漢堡扒的組合令我不由得想起昔日港式快餐名店「時新漢堡包」美味的漢堡包,也許這裡的漢堡包還未及當年「時新漢堡包」的美味,可已能讓我回味一番。「迷你肉醬意粉」說是迷你,實質上一點也不迷你,大碟的意粉,加上漢堡包,絕對足以飽肚,而且意粉也頗彈牙呢!這天「上湯香菇浸時蔬」的時蔬是爽甜的娃娃菜,廚師十分慷慨,娃娃菜極多,配以少許香菇,才三十多元,抵食度滿分。在今日的香港,在時代的洪流衝擊下,有歷史的食肆已經愈來愈少,仍能繼續經營的,實在應該多加珍惜。Read More

食過咁多間茶餐廳嘅下午茶,呢間算幾深刻,皆因佢大件夾抵食。位於深水埗嘉頓附近,青山道的雪山冰廳,食物質素一如以往。很喜歡他的榛子醬西多士,剛炸起的西多士熱辣辣上枱,外觀金黃色,邊緣炸得微脆,加上溶化牛油,顏值已經接近滿分。切下去感到麵包的回彈力,入面塗滿榛子醬,是無比的吸引力。軟熟的麵包和香甜的榛子醬,味道十分配合,牛油增添它的邪惡感,也豐富西多士的味道層次。另外,tea 拼盤二人餐,包含四款小食和兩杯飲品,樹王的份量很多,雜果沙律除了沙律醬,應該還加入了一些煉奶調味,味道香甜可口,是舊式茶記的雜果沙律味道。Read More
