Came for dinner after happy hour on a Friday night. It was my first time to Ruth’s steak house and I was looking forward to it. There were 3 of us left over from drinking and we were starving. For the starters we ordered the crab cakes and jumbo scallops. The crab cakes were delicious with lots of crab meat and were not watery. The jumbo scallops were juicy and tender. Both were served on sizzling hot plates. For the mains we decided to go for good quality meat and ordered the 40oz USDA Tom
For the starters we ordered the crab cakes and jumbo scallops. The crab cakes were delicious with lots of crab meat and were not watery. The jumbo scallops were juicy and tender. Both were served on sizzling hot plates.
For the mains we decided to go for good quality meat and ordered the 40oz USDA Tomahawk Bone in Ribeye steak. The meat was cooked to medium as we requested and had a deep beef flavour and the meat was tender and juicy. It was definitely worth paying extra for better quality meat! It was the star of the night and one of the best meat experiences I’ve ever had.
To accompany the steak we ordered sides of mashed potatoes, broccoli au gratin and pan roasted wild mushrooms. The mash potatoes deserve a special mention for being creamy and smooth.
The service was great and the restaurant seating was spacious.
